This broadcast is not about predictions, nor is it about setting dates as some foolishly have done, however it is all about preparation.

PROPHECY HEADLINES: France: After Khamenei comments, nuclear deal remains a long way off | Saudi Arabia says 500 rebels have been killed in Yemen | Former Egyptian army officers are joining Islamist militant groups | U.S. concerned over giant Chinese naval buildup | Syria agrees to use military force to drive ISIS militants out of Palestinian refugee camp

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled “Worthy is the Lamb!” (Part 9) from Dr. Ed Hindson’s book “Revelation: Unlocking the Future”.

Revelation Chapter 5 ends with myriads of angels joining the elders to praise the Lamb. Their innumerable host is described as “myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands.” The best modern equivalent would be “millions.” The angels are not redeemed because they are not fallen creatures. Therefore, they could not sing redemption’s song. But now they join the redeemed in singing praise to the Lamb for who He is.

Angels play a prominent role in the Apocalypse. An angel dispatched the message to John. Each of the seven churches is said to have an angel. An angel asked if someone was worthy to open the scroll. Angels are pictured as the proclaimers and executors of God’s judgments. They are also told to seal the elect and to assist in their prayers. In eternity, they unveil the New Jerusalem and guard the gates of the city.

The expression “worthy is the Lamb” places the worship of Christ equal with that of God the Father. God is worshiped as Creator in chapter 4, and Christ is worshiped as Redeemer in chapter 5. The combined impact of these two chapters leaves no doubt as to the deity and divine nature of Christ. He is to be worshiped as equal in essence to the Father, while the Holy Spirit draws our attention to both because “he will not speak on His own initiative.”
