Russell Moore, Tony Evans, John Perkins, Fred Luter, H.B. Charles Jr., Thabiti Anyabwile, Kevin Smith, Walter Strickland, Trip Lee, and other Christian leaders will speak at the ERLC Leadership Summit this week. The Southern Baptist-led event will explore the intersection of the gospel and racial reconciliation in the church especially in light of recent racially-charged events across the nation.
The 2015 ERLC Leadership Summit aims “to equip Christians to apply the gospel on these issues with convictional kindness in their communities, their families, and their churches.”
The event will be held in Nashville on March 26-27, 2015.
According to promotional materials, “Recent events in Ferguson and with Eric Garner have reignited a national conversation about race in America. Are you and your church prepared to engage this important discussion and minister in your community? … When it comes to race, our churches must reflect the united kingdom of Christ more than the divided states of America. This conference will equip you and your church to do just that.”
A live stream of the main sessions and panels will be broadcast on BCNN3.TV and GLBN.TV.
